The Citeline client Training team supports clients that have access to Citeline’s subscription-based services and ensures that users have access to training materials. We are supporting clients in the US and EMEAI and supporting hundreds of companies and thousands of users in these regions.
In this internship you will report into the Head of Client Training and help with the administrative tasks that help us to make training materials available to new users or existing users. The role would involve logging cases onto Salesforce.com, assigning users to lessons in our learning management tool and updating training materials such as PowerPoint presentations. You will also be updating Help Center materials, proofing training materials that we have developed and checking for spelling or grammatical errors. You would work with a small US- and UK-based team. The team collaborates continuously with colleagues in the sales team, client success managers, client services and marketing teams.
The main role would be to log information onto Salesforce.com that would show which users have been assigned training materials. They could also update information to show which users have used the training materials. You will update Salesforce with details of people added to the learning management system and would record people that attended open training sessions.
You will need to be methodical, detail-focused and not mind the repetitive nature of some tasks. You will be able to work independently but follow directions and instructions that will be provided. In this role you will have the opportunity to utilize and learn the industry recognized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool Salesforce, how to use the Learning management tool provided by Seismic Learning taught how to use Zendesk.

THE TEAM

The training team is a well-respected team within Citeline that provides training for our clients who have access to the Clinical and Regulatory Data that we provide. These clients are predominantly in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries but also include financial companies, CDMOs and consultancies. The training team helps our clients to learn about the different resources that are available to them and their colleagues. The client training team is a small, high performing and highly collaborative team that helps each other out and provides support to our clients and also internal teams such as Client Success and Commercial teams. There are 2 people in UK and 2 people in the US. 
SCOPE OF ROLE
In this role, you will be helping to provide training materials to hundreds of new users each week and ensure that this information is logged in Salesforce.com so that we can track which users have been added and account managers and Client Success Managers can view these metrics. You will also be involved in updating PowerPoint presentations with information about new product offerings or enhancements to existing products. You will help to update Help Center information and replace out of date screenshots and update materials to reflect enhancements to the products. All of this would help to make clients more aware of the valuable resources that they have access to and start to use these more regularly. Increased usage contributes to more clients renewing our services and our key job is to support renewals.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

  • Ensure that new users are added to the Learning management system and assigned to the appropriate materials each week. This information needs to be logged on Salesforce.com on a weekly basis.
  • Update PowerPoint presentations to include details about new product offerings or enhancements as these are introduced by the business.
  • Update Help Center materials to remove out-of-date information and update with new screenshots. This will be done on a rolling basis.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • You will be methodical, detail-focused and not mind the repetitive nature of some tasks.
  • You will be able to work independently but follow directions and instructions that will be provided.
  • Some experience of Excel or PowerPoint would be useful as these will be used a lot.
  • Interest in Data input and consistency of data is important.
Internship dates: June 17th - December 6th , please note this is a part-time internship for 24 weeks
